First released in 1999, the 1000 embodies bold, futuristic styling reminiscent of the turn of the century, with a streamlined, yet intricately detailed design. The 'Míle' — the Gaelic word for "thousand" — adds elements inspired by the one-thousand-dollar bill, a rare bank note that circulated in the late 19th century. The deep green shoe is rich with custom logos and eye-catching, pink details. Leather and suede overlays intermix with mesh underlays on the upper, for a textured, but refined, tech-inspired look. A segmented sole unit features ABZORB cushioning at the heel and forefoot, with a Stability Web midfoot shank.
